Mariama Saidykhan

I am Mariama Saidykhan. I joined the MRCG at LSHTM in March 2015. I have previously worked with the HIGH project in Soma site as a field assistant, doing iron supplementation on infants and pregnant women. I was later moved to HERO G in 2016, working in the same position, conducting infant anthropometry. In 2018, I began work with Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) as field assistant conducting interviews and Focus Group Discussions with adolescent girls in Upper Basic schools in Lower River Region.

I joined the BRIGHT Project in 2019 as a field assistant, where I had a great experience working with the team doing the LENA home visits, collecting six hours recording on infants from different time points using the LENA device, administering socio-economic questionnaires, uploading the recordings and transcribing the data for word counts. Subsequently, I moved to the BRIGHT Neuro testing team, assisting with fNIRS, Eye Tracking, EEG, conducting the Tablet Task, administering questionnaire data, back up and updating the Data Tracker.
