Maria Rozhko

I joined the BRIGHT team as a graduate intern in August 2015 – right after my graduation from King’s College London with a degree in Biomedical Science. Towards the end of my degree I developed a strong interest in maternal and child health and, especially, in the effect of early life nutrition on child development. That is why, when I got my internship at the Medical Research Council in Cambridge, I got introduced to the BRIGHT study. In August 2016, I secured a post of a research assistant on the project and am now a primary contact for our participants, responsible for overseeing all stages of the study in Cambridge as well as running the assessments.
